Couldn't be better!”
Marlene077(Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
We stayed three nights at Boomerang Village.

Positive:
The personal: very friendly and they speak English very well!
The surroundings: the swimming pool was very nice and there was a nice view from the restaurant. The breakfast was really good and they had a lot of different food! Dinner wasn't really special but not bad too.

Negative: nothing!

Note:
It's situated on a mountain top, but when you're young and healthy this is no problem! (10 minutes walk to the centre and 15 to the beach). Besides they have a free transfer to the beach.
Makes you wanna go back like a Boomerang
JunoRW9(Sentosa Island, Singapore)
Rooms are beautifully decorated, hotel surrounded with lush gardens and beautiful flowers. Pool is small but cozy - amazing view from the bar. Nice ambience in the restaurent for breakfast. If you are a beach bump - not the best of place as it is quite a distance from the beach- however rent a motorbike and you will solve it.
Boomerang, i will be back same time next year.
Simply wonderful

We stayed at the Boomerang Village Cottages in February 2010 and had the time of our lives. Their grounds are beautifully kept, and their pool is the perfect place to have a cocktail while enjoying soothing music in addition to the lush green surroundings. They have a restaurant which is absolutely phenomenal. We ate and drank something there everyday. We went on excursions to the Similan Islands and Phi Phi Islands. They also provide a very quick shuttle ride to Kata Beach, which is stunning, if you don't feel like walking. It was a vacation of a lifetime, especially because I got engaged in Phi Phi! Overall, this is a fantastic hotel so book early because they only have a limited number of cottages .Enjoy gorgeous Thailand!!
Heaven in Phuket
Allgirls2010(Perth, Australia)
Traveled from Perth to this picture perfect village & were very impressed !!
The room my friends & I shared was exquiste !! The staff & owners should be highly commended. Loved the staff, food, village..what you see of this accommodation is what you get....Beautiful....A huge thank you from the Aussie ladies.....
the only place to stay in Phuket!
MasterK(Brisbane)
We stayed for 7 nights & loved everything about it. Firstly, the design of the resort is beautiful. It consists of several wooden thai style bungalows spread out amongst lush tropical gardens - no cold grey concrete apartment blocks here!! The pool is quiet & relaxing with a pool bar serving happy hour 2 for 1 drinks each day at 4pm and there is free wifi throughout the resort.

The location is set back from the beach on the hill about 15 mins walk from Kata town / 20 mins walk from Kata beach with the only steep/hilly part of the walk being the short driveway to the resort. You do not need to walk this if you dont want to - the resort has a free shuttle to Kata during the day. We preferred to walk so we were getting a little bit of exercise on holiday, especially with eating all the amazing Thai food & cheap beer!

Resort massages are great value in the comfort of your airconditioned room & only marginally more expensive than in the town (maybe 50-100 baht difference).

The restaurant is very good, and breakfast is outstanding! So much choice and they will make you fresh coffee (cappucino, latte etc) & cook you fresh eggs to your liking (we recommend scrambled as they are cooked in the wok so have that amazing asian wok flavour!). Dinner at resort was good value, however do recommend skipping the expensive tourist cafes (150 baht for sandwich) & restaurants (250 baht for pasta) in town and instead eating at some of the local places - basically any covered area that has plastic tables & chairs set up! Can get amazing authentic thai food 50-60 baht for main (e.g. curry or stir fry) and 20 baht for rice.

Any tours you want to do can be organised through reception - we did a 6 island cruise (including Phi Phi) which was good but our favourite was the Thai cooking class (ask to go to "Phuket Thai cookery school" - reviewed on TA).

Kata beach near the resort was more beautiful & peaceful than busy Karon or Patong - so glad we didnt stay in either of those areas of phuket! VERY busy with lots of bars, drunk tourists, people trying to sell you anything/everything & no relaxtion. Much better to just catch a tuktuk and visit for the day/evening if you want (400baht from Kata to Patong via tuktuk).

I also recommend going to the Dinopark minigolf in Kata town - 15mins walk from the resort! The best minigolf I have ever been to and a great way to spend an hour in the evening before/after dinner (they close at midnight).

Finally the staff at the resort were fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble for them to organise for you - they even give you a little gift when you check out which is really sweet :) Would definitely stay here again!
Empfehlenswert!”
kkathi(Bayern)
This hotel is amazing! Especially for the price
Stompeh(Suffolk, England)
This hotel is amazing! Especially for the price, I would expect to pay a lot more money for such a lovely place.
the greeting we recieved when arriving stunned us quite a bit, the receptonist was very friendly and gave us some orange juice while she explained all the services available like massages, trips to the Simon caberet etc, and showed us to our room and explained where everything was.
Spotlessly clean room, which was decorated with flowers, air con and a fan overhead, and nice shower!
The restaurant is closed for rennovation for the peak season I assume, but we had breakfast delivered to our room all free of charge, and there's plenty of restaurants near by at the bottom of the hill.
The pool looks lush! Fountains and things... And there's a computer next to it which is free to use and very quick.
Kata beach is about a 20 min walk away, but they have a free shuttle car or you can order a taxi.
The staff here are so lovely, and all in all this is a brilliant hotel.
Being 18 and 19 we have been told that patong beach is the place with the best nightlife and it's a little way a way from there, but obviously there are lots of places to go in kata beach and you can always
jump in a taxi to get to karon beach and patong about 5-10 min taxi ride away.
We have to leave very early in the morning, and the receptionist just brought us some breakfast for tomorrow! Amazing service :)
would recommend to anyone, couples, families... You must stay here!
Enchanting Property Great Value

We were very happy with the Boomerang Village. The grounds are lovely, staff very accommodating, cute little rooms, charming property for the price. I would recommend it in a heart beat!

Peaceful, tropical retreat
debmac1(Perth)
This was our first hotel in Thailand and we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the detached villa next to the pool which was one large room and a bathroom. We also had our own little garden area. It was great having the pool so conveniently located to the room. Unfortunately my friend and I had to settle for sharing a bed as no single bed rooms were available but this wasn't a problem as the king size bed was huge. The room had all the essentials, nice bathroom with a good hot water shower, fridge and aircon and the linen and room were spotless. The room rate included a very extensive buffet breakfast. The staff were all very helpful. The hotel is a good half hour walk to the beach and in the heat we mostly took advantage of the free transfers provided by the hotel (on request) or paid 100 baht for a taxi if the hotel manager was not available to do a transfer. Kata beach is okay but nothing special (spoiled by Perth beaches). It was the usual deal - 100baht each to hire two sun lounges and an umbrella. The market shopping was okay and we caught taxis to Pattong Beach and Karon Beach. I preferred Kata beach but would be unlikely to choose Phuket area for a holiday again as there are more attractive places in Thailand (we loved Hua Hin). The hotel was great - the driveway is very steep so you'd need to be pretty fit but most people come and go via taxi or transfer and hire motorbikes. Out of all of the places we went in Thailand this is probably the only place I'd consider hiring a motorbike. The traffic and roads are pretty good. Boomerang Village was a great place to stay - and exceptional value. If I recall correctly, our room rate was 1500 baht per night. You can book massages in your room - which I can recommend - for about 300 baht. And happy hour is between 4 and 5 every day - two drinks for the price of one. We had spring rolls with our drinks a few times which were delicious, but didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening. Their menu was extensive. Our routine was beach/shop in the morning after breakfast, massage about 2 or 3 pm, pina coladas poolside and a swim until happy hour finished at 5, then showers and head off by taxi to Pattong or Karon or Kata for dinner. Didn't discover the south end of Kata beach until the last day but that is probably the best area to beach and eat in Kata. Had great Thai food in the north end of the Kata township (walking distance from Boomerang Village) at a terraced restaurant - sorry can't recall the name. We stayed 3 nights and were collected very early on Day 4 for the transfer to Elephant Hills at Khao Sok National Park.
Hidden paradise
Rickpresti(Rickpresti)
Stayed here for 3 days in a deluxe villa room, which more than met my expectations, the restaurant was excellent, I recommend trying the lobster (need to order in morning), they helped book all tours and provided free shuttle taxi to the beach. No complaints, I would have liked the bed to have been softer, but having travelled round asia have come acustomed to hard beds.
I can vouch for the reviews previously on here and add to the fact that the resort has a personal feel to eat and can say it has been one of the best botique resorts I have stayed at.

I wish it well for the future!!

P.S free wifi a nice touch!
Book ahead, as you may miss out
malindaPerth(perth)
This is the first time we have written a review for trip advisor. We choose this hotel based on everyones comments and now we have been there, definately agree!. Its a wonderful place to stay. Romantic, serene, beautiful tropical garden & lovely thai style rooms with privacy. Unfortunately we couldn't stay there our entire holiday, as they were fully booked. Although not close to the beach (about 20mins walk) this doesn't matter as they will transport you there daily for free. Staff very friendly & helpful. Local thai resturant @ the T junction of main rd (right hand side- opposite the post office) is a real gem. cheap & very tasty....we couldn't find another better than this, hence had to keep going back! Don't delay, book ahead so you don't miss out like we almost did!

Grazie ancora.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
tommyC64(Bucks, UK)
I chose this hotel on the basis of previous reviews and I was not disappointed. The setting is wonderful; you would not think that this hotel was minutes away from the bustling Kata town centre. The rooms were very comfortable with distinctive styling, frequent changes of bed linen and plentiful towels. Lovely pool which, though not suited to swimming lengths, was very adequate for the number of guests that the Boomerang accommodates. The restaurant was excellent too; we ate there a lot and always enjoyed the food and the setting. And the staff were so helpful, including driving us to and from the marvellous beach for free! The hotel is set on a steep hill which may not suit the more infirm, but if you can walk then I recommend this hotel without reservation. And it's good value too.
Nice hotel, really helpful staff

Visited this hotel a year ago with my teenage daughter. We stayed for one week and really did like the hotel. As some other people here has stated, it is a bit away from the beach. On the other hand, there is also a really relaxing place, with stunning view from the mountain.

The staff here is really an asset, everybody tries and help with your requests and the owners Paolo and Paolo(?) really runs the place like their own baby. Small but nice pool, OK breakfast and a lot of serenity that you won´t find in so many places in Phuket, especially not in Kata. The rooms are a not big, but clean and well-kept. SInce we went here in the autumn we experienced some days of raining, and it was nice just to relax at the hotel, read a book, take a drink, taking a bath in the pool. If you are going to Kata/Karon this is probably one of the best bargains for your money in terms of quality for a small amount of money. Warmly recommended.
Amazing

My husband and I visited Thailand for 3 weeks and Boomerangs was our first stop. We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the Superior cottages. I did alot of research before booking all the hotels we stayed during our Honeymoon and this was the cheapest and had the best reviews in the Kata area. We arrived at Midnight from the US and thankfully I booked the transfers through the hotel, having family that live in Thailand they said Phuket was notorious for ripping off tourist with transportation. They charged 800 baht and that is cheaper then you would pay hailing a taxi from the airport and you didn't have to worry about anything, they met you there with a sign and the ride was about 30 minutes to Boomerangs. We were so happy when we pulled up, the Manager Paulo greeted us at 1 am with fresh towels and a juice that was so refreshing after our long journey. We instantly fell in love with the place, it was so small and quaint and very well maintained and the rooms were beautiful. Having our own private cottage was great, and they also had flowers on the bed that was such a nice touch. We woke up early despite going so bed late and went to breakfast, it was small but wonderful. The restaurant makes you feel like you are in Thailand with all the statues and colors. The service was so personable I didn't want to leave. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes but Paulo will drop you off around 9 am and pick you up around 4 for FREE! They really go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. The free WIFI was so nice and most larger hotels charge you for it. He also will take you to other areas for the same price as a local taxi or tuk tuk and you dont have to walk down the street and wait for one. This was a great start to our vacation and staying at 2 different hotels in Kata (Kata Beach Resort and spa) I would pick this one over that one anytime I visit that area again. I couldn't get over the hospitality and willingness to make you as comfortable as possible. I will be back : )

Beautiful and Excellent Value for Money
sabinerebecca(Shanghai)
We booked this hotel not despite its distance to the beach but BECAUSE of its distance to it. We did not want to be constantly surrounded by tarts and touts.
We went as a family of 6 with 3 children 13y, 7y and 3 months and their grandma. Everyone of us was very happy with the resort.

Staff and Management:
- Every email from my initial inquiry to special requests, such as our requirement of a room close to pool to always be able to watch the kids, or asking in advance for a birthday cake for our daughter, or date changes of our stay, had been answered promptly, detailed and positively.
- On our departure day the management came and offered us to keep our suite room until 4:30 p.m. (!!!!) for free if we could leave the other room right after breakfast. This was really accommodating because they needed the room the same evening, and very helpful because our flight was in the evening.
- Every single staff member was cheerful, friendly, helpful.

Bedroom:
Clean, spacious, very tastefully decorated in Thai style with love to the detail.
Bathroom:
Spacious and clean, lots of room for everything.
Towels were provided for the room, extra towels for the pool and again extra towels to take to the beach. The suite room provided also bath robes.

No phone in room, that's true.
But firstly this is not a business hotel and secondly actually everyone has cell phones now and there is a Thai service that lets you use your overseas SIM card for local calls at local cost. Plus the staff always assists you free of charge if you want to make a local call to a tour provider or restaurant.

TV with international channels such as BBC, DW TV.......
DVD player. Came in handy as we stayed during the rainy season and let the kids watch one DVD once.

Minor things to mention:
- For our cottage with 4 beds the one wardrobe in the room was too small.
- The bedside lamps were beautiful, but the light too dim for comfortable evening reading.

Pool:
Gem!
Not big but stunningly beautiful.
Simply perfect if you are not coming to Phuket to swim olympic laps.
There is space to sit and relax at both ends of the pool and one end is also equipped with jacuzzi.

Restaurant:
A typical open style Thai restaurant, very meticulously decorated all over.
Breakfast buffet starts from 8a.m. to 1p.m. but actually it was most times 8.30 before everything had been set up completely. Which doesn't matter when you know it.

Lunch and dinner dishes were all very good and you get also excellent value for money.
It is a pity that the restaurant is far from the center and has therefor not many guests from outside: other 'restaurants' in Kata with more or less the same menu but higher prices did disappoint us.

Living Room: Open and as beautiful as everything else.

Location:
Yes, up a very steep hill. But we walked to the beach a few times although the resort provides free shuttle. And it took us 20 min to Kata Yai Beach.
The steep part is by the way only about 100 m long and pretty managable.

If we go back to Phuket I will definitely try to book Boomerang Cottages again.
Tranquilidad y servicio excelente
desdealgunlugar(Madrid)
Simply beautiful
PlanBSingapore(Singapore)
The hotel is located on a steep hill, overlooking Kata Bay. We stayed in a deluxe villa and to put it in a nutshell: it was simply great. The villa was beautifully furnished and decorated, spacious and clean. The garden and pool area were really nice, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. It's possible to walk to the beach, but it will take you about 20 minutes. However, they offer a shuttle service to the beach and should you miss that you can always take one of the inexpensive but fun Tuk Tuks.
We found it was a great place to stay and to use as a starting point for trips all over the island and simply great value for money.
Beautifully designed

We loved it.

We loved it. The room was beautiful and we could see the sea. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast just fantastic. We recommend using the pushbikes if you can't bear to hire a motorbike...we cycled to the beach and to restaurants in the evenings and loved it ..just be prepared for a steep push up the hill as you reach the cottages.
A lovely place

A lovely place and great staff. Would go back and stay there again. Quality and price is unmatched. You feel like your in your own world.
Boomerang - mehr als nur eine Unterkunft!
Krueml_17(Gaimersheim)

Peaceful paradise
BeachSeeker17(Ontario)
Wonderful hotel! A bit of a hike to the beach, but walkable for sure. Taxis are cheap too. The bugalows are so nice, with all needed amenities. The pool is great, the view is good, the staff are so helpful, the manager is very nice and helpful.

This would be a great friend holiday or couples retreat. Excellent price, too! $45 CAD/night for a piece of paradise.

The restaurant is ok, the breakfast is amazing! Since the whole place is run by Italians, it caters to Westerners very well.
Great staff & service, good deal, beautiful viewsq
scarletfires(.)
We stayed here for 9 days, following a stay 7 nights get 2 free deal we found. The resort is really beautiful and we enjoyed the staff. The staff was so nice and helpful- we felt like we had new friends at the end of our stay!

The downside was that the pool was broken during half of our stay, which was kind of drag, but they made up for it with a great discount. They worked day and night to get the pool fixed. Very dedicated staff.

Another problem is that they don't have a computer. They have free wi-fi, but this was the only place we stayed that didn't have a computer for guests. Even the low budget places we stayed provided that. It seems they could add this feature at little additional cost to the resort.

The resort is located up a steep hill, but it didn't stop us from walking all around town. The resort provides a daily shuttle to and from Kata Beach, which is very nice. We found that it wasn't far to walk from the resort to the town though, if you like a little exercise.

The restaurant is great. The breakfast has a lot to offer, which was nice. THere are lots of little local places to eat at the bottom of the hill that I would recommend. Great dishes cost about $1.

Once the pool was working we loved that! It is a very cool pool!!!! And happy hour is fun there. The pool overlooks the town and the beach. We loved our stay at Boomerang and would definitely stay again.

While we heard the town of Kata wasn't supposed to be like Patong, it still had its fair share of tourist annoyances and western men cruising for Thai women. The Boomerang was an oasis from that scene though, mostly families and couples, which gave it a nice vibe.

There is a really cool local market in Kata on Thursday- mostly locals and local prices.

We absolutely loved Boomerang, but probably would not visit Phuket a second time around.
Lovely Resort

I stayed for a week.
Perfect location, the rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated. The suites were large and clean. We used the nice pool on several occasions. Very nice staff and efficient service. The breakfast is really good.
I really have only good things to say about this hotel!
I enjoyed my stay here. In sum, the hotel seemed liked an excellent value.
Absolute Perfection in Kata Beach
mccannon24(Stavanger, Norway)
First and foremost I have stayed in hotels all around the world (both budget and luxury) and this was by far the best resort I have ever stayed in. My husband and I picked this place, due to the great trip advisor reviews and stunning traveler photos. Let me just say that the online photos both on trip advisor and on the website do not come close to the beauty of the hotel grounds that you see in person upon arrival. Our stay was from April 16th-23rd. This resort is top notch, 5+ stars in my book and an incredible value! At a cost of only 53 euro a night, we felt like we were staying in a luxury resort of 200+ euro a night. We stayed in one of the suite rooms (suite 14), which was on the ground level, right by the pool. We had a nice terrace that we enjoyed sitting out on and soaking up the beautiful jungle views. Make sure you do bring bug spray though - you are in the jungles of thailand and there are mosquitos.

We organized a transfer from the airport to the resort with the hotel, upon arrival. Right as we walked out of the airport there was our transfer waiting for us. I would totally recommend doing this for 19 euro bc it is a good price and saves you the hassle of trying to barter with a tuk-tuk or taxi after a long international flight. We arrived early evening and were greeted by the lovely receptionist who escorted us over to the beautifully thai decorated outdoor living room. It was also a special touch to be greeted with a fresh flower lei and delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. She showed us around the resort, explained all of the tours we could set up and showed us around the room. We were blown away by such a warm welcome!

Our room was gorgeous! Tastefully decorated in thai style and was very spacious. We had a beautiful king sized bed and the flowers they sprinkled over our bed upon arrival was a lovely touch (and it wasn't even our honeymoon). The bathroom was also beautifully decorated in Thai style and had a big open shower that we very much enjoyed. Also, the a/c was a great escape from the heat of Phuket!

The hotel grounds are meticulously groomed and there are coy fish ponds, flowers and "Thai style" sculptures everywhere. It was very exotic and I felt very far away from reality. The pool area was great! The fountains into the pool and night time lighting made it feel very romantic. This is a very quaint resort and many times it was just my husband and I in the pool...nice romantic touchI also recommend taking advantage of the happy hour and enjoying drinks by the pool....it was the relaxation we needed after a busy day touring or at the beach.

The restaurant was great too. We ate here 4 nights during our stay. We tried the pizza one night and it was delicious! We never tried any of the Italian food, but the Thai food is top notch and the Thai waitresses are very friendly. Try the spring rolls for an appetizer...we got them every night. The breakfast buffet is included in your package as well, which we took advantage of every morning. The fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice is out of this world! It is also open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. which was nice for the days when we wanted to sleep in.

Sorry to go on and on, but this place was amazing and I would totally recommend it to anyone of all ages. The service was top notch too. Being a quaint resort, they accommodated any of our wishes. They helped us arrange all of our tours and transport (I recommend doing James Bond Island and the Phi Phi Islands tour). In addition, we had a late flight at 9 p.m. and they extended our check out time from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and then arranged for our luggage to be in a safe place. Any time we had a question or concern, they were there to make our stay absolutely perfect.

The location was great too. It was away from all the craziness of the resorts directly down by the beach. It was quiet, peaceful and very tranquil. Instead of falling asleep to the sounds of cars and motor bikes (as I would suspect the hotels by the beach have a problem with), we fell asleep to the peaceful jungle sounds of crickets, frogs and other random jungle sounds. Don't be concerned about the resort being a 15 min. walk to the beach. The hotel staff will drive you to the beach anytime between 9-1 p.m. and will pick you up at 4 p.m. We took advantage of this the first day, however we enjoyed driving the motor bikes to and from the beach (200 baht a day, or 4 euro a day). The bikes were safe and loads of fun!

I am not going to ramble on anymore, but if you are looking for an amazing, exotic, peaceful holiday, look no further than this resort. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back here again in the future. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay special!

ps-they give you these fabulous silk robes that we loved wearing around the room :)
Dolce is the life at Boomerang Village
vmeirinhos(Portugal)
Phuket Island has its share of too many tourists and crowded uninteresting hotels. However this italian run resort is a real oasis in the island. It is true value for money. Elegant and chic without being pretentious at all. It is a little bit of heaven. From the moment you arrive you have that feeling of being in a paradisiacal island. The rooms are perfectly decorated for you with several orchids being adequately placed just to create a romantic atmosphere. The staff is excellent, always available and with a welcoming honest smile. All in all we have loved this hotel. The best we have stayed in our 22 days holiday in Thailand.
Magnifico!

We loved Boomerang Village. Our cottage was beautiful with a town and ocean view. The hotel is located on a hill away from the noise and trafic. The setting and decoration was lovely and with good taste. Breakfast was great and their restaurant menu for snacks and dinner had a nice variety. The location was perfect and walking distance to Kata Beach about 15 minutes. Free shuttle is also provided by the hotel to the beach as well. We highly reccommend this wonderful place in Phuket for a relaxing holiday.

I don't even know where to start with my love for the Boomerang... If you are going to Phuket and want to stay around Kata/Karon beaches, I can't recommend the Boomerang highly enough.

We had a group of 10 people at the Boomerange for a full week and we all just loved it. First of all, it's really beautiful - the grounds, the rooms, the view, the restaurant/bar and the pool, which just opened and is totally fantastic.

We spent a lot of time at the bar/restaurant and had great services, great food and fun drinks. Breakfast is served until 1pm and is full of fresh fruit, eggs, breads and extra treats like yogurt and Italian meat and cheese. And cappucino! The pizzas are wonderful, great pad thai, shakes and ice cream drinks, italian wine and nice, cold beer. All the prices are quite nice.

The rooms are spacious and really lovely. Some of the rooms are up some kind of rough stairs, but it's not bad. Air conditioned, nice showers, cleaned every day, stocked mini-fridge. You might find a gecko in your room, but you can just consider him a little friend.

The really special thing at the Boomerang though is the service. You are met at the airport and transfered (also a reasonable fee, given how far away the airport is) to Boomerang and then immediately greeted with some juice and an orchid lei. They explain everything about the place, including the scooters you can rent (highly recommended), services, transportation options and organized tours. They set up everything for you for elephant rides or zip-lining or day trips... it seems totally effortless and it's all done with a smile.

The location is a little odd, only because it's up a pretty steep hill, which makes walking (especially in the heat) a little tough - grabbing a tuk tuk by the beach is easy and the scooters on site are really cheap. Being up on the hill is great though because it's a beautiful view and there is a cooler breeze. It is about a 15 minute walk to either Kata or Karon beach, one little drawback; but, being away it all is totally worth it. You reallly feel like you are in a little, relaxing oasis at the Boomerang. We didn't know how much we really wanted that until we saw how busy it is all around Phuket. It was a great retreat and a great value. Again... I can't recommend it highly enough.

P.S. I've added some photos of the magnificent new pool, which isn't listed on their website yet.
fantastic holiday

The newly opened Italian-run bungalow village on an inland hill overlooks Kata Beach. The steep hill you have to walk up is a price willingly paid for a quiet place at decent rates, off all-night tourist entertainment, and yet within walking distance to Kata and Karon Beaches. Breakfeast is served on a thatched veranda with sea view and a gentle breeze. The rooms with shower and AC are tastefully furnished and staff and owners are the epitome of hosts.

This is not a hotel, it's a little bit your home. Verry fine rooms, who are verry clean. A wonderfull restaurant with an excellent breakfast and (if you want) a tastefull dinner (try it)..
It's a little bit away from the sea (and the crowd) but there are bikes (free) and motorbikes (200 bath a day).
This is a place where you are more than a passenger. I hope ever to go back. And whit the swimmingpool who is coming this place will be a heaven on earth.
a beatiful trip

This is a very beatiful place in kata.
It's far from the beach 5 minutes (no more) by moto, from Karon and Patong 10/15 minuts by tuk tuk or taxi.
The room are excellent, cleany and confortable, here we cane give all facilites.
The staff is very good, you can meet a very nice persons and you can ask them all informations and help then the staff person can to do for you.
This plase is very quiet between the green, but if you want something different like funs, dancing or a lot of bar in no more of 10 minutes you can give.
I sincerly suggest Boomerang Village.

We spent a wornderful 11 days in this cosy resort. Greatly situated far away from the downtown noise, yet close enough for a nice 10 minute walk to the beach.

The rooms are clean and spacious with a great view of the town and distant sea through very large windows. Each has a small porch where you can enjoy the sunset. There is a nice garden, full of tropical plants, water spots and cascades. The restaurant offers both local and italian food. The breakfast is tasty, with a lot of fruit and delicious Italian coffee.

The hotel is ran by three Intalins who are always very helpful to arrange trips, motor bikes and anything you wish for.

Anyway, Paolo x2, Orpheo and all the team, thank you for all efforts, we enjoyed it!!!
Fantastic for honeymooners

These bungalows are fantastic. Upon arrival our bags were taken to our rooms whilst we were given some information and a welcome drink (as well as a bottle of mosquito repellant). Whether there weren't many mosquitoes or whether the repellent was really good, I'm not sure but neither of us got bitten, and we were expecting the mozzies to eat us alive as there was so much tropical greenery and water features.
The bungalows are great, and it's lovely to have your own separate bungalow (especially for honeymooners like ourselves). The 3 Italian owners were great from start to finish, so thanks guys. We had initially only planned on staying for a night or 2 but in the end we stopped 5 nights and used it as a base to explore Phuket as it was so nice and such good value.

Though a pool was being built we found that this did not disturb us in the least. The bar was excellent -really chilled out and comfortable, and the whole place in finished to an exceptionally high standard.

I must agree with the previous review in that the dogs at the bottom of the hill are a real pain. I love dogs normally, but these dogs were intent on trying to bite, and my wife felt threatened by them. Shouting at them seemed to keep them at bay, but they would have got a boot had they bitten either of us! But don't let this put you off!

Breakfast was nice-available til 1pm which is great if you've had a heavy night. My wife and I would certainly stay here again. On the last night we didn't return until late, and we wanted to settle our bill. Orpheo (one of the owners) allowed us to pay the balance in sterling as we didn't have chance to go to the bank, and the system had been closed down so it was too late to pay by credit card. We are very grateful for that.

I would also recommend doing a couple of trips (which the hotel can sort out) -especially the Phi Phi trip which we loved. The elephant trekking was also superb.

All in all an excellent experience which we would both love to repeat one day
